  Chinese Text Analyser is a document reader that segments and displays Chinese text.

• Track known words

  Mark words as either known or unknown, and over time Chinese Text Analyser will build up an understanding of your vocabulary level and let you quickly see how well you will understand a new piece of Chinese content. You can create multiple vocabulary profiles and switch between them, making it possible to see how well you will understand the text if you first learn a given set of words on top of your current vocabulary.

• Calculate frequency statistics

  Word frequency statistics are created in real time for each document opened. See which words in a given piece of text are the most commonly used, and sort words by frequency, first occurrence or word.

• Create wordlists

  Export word lists of known or unknown words for use in SRS or other programs. A range of export fields are supported, including frequency data, pronunciation, meaning, and automatic sentence and cloze extraction.

• Scriptable

  Chinese Text Analyser comes with built-in support for the Lua scripting language. You can write custom scripts to manipulate Chinese text, and extract words, sentences, statistics and more.

• Export segmented text

  The document exporter allows you to export segmented Chinese text, with custom tags before and after the document, each paragraph and each individual word.

• High performance

  Chinese Text Analyser can process large amounts of Chinese text in very small amounts of time and with relatively low memory usage. On a modern machine, processing several megabytes of text will be more or less instant, and even several gigabytes worth of text will still complete in a reasonable amount of time and without locking up your entire machine.
